Luke 23:33 When they came to the place called the Skull, there they crucified him, along with the criminals -

I didn't get saved until I was 19.  I imagine that some people will think, 'saved from what?'  Well, saved from the penalty of sin, saved from myself, saved from the world, saved from hell.  Maybe that's too many to mention, let's just say saved from my sin.  Jesus saved me.  Honestly, I can't understand  people asking or thinking 'saved from what?, because I have always known that I needed something, I  knew that Jesus was real and that he died for me and that he rose from the dead.  Even though it wasn't at the top of my list and I paid it no mind, I still knew it.

I was going to Church, but that wasn't enough, I knew it.  I was going to a week long crusade and every night when the minister would invite people to be saved, the Holy Spirit definitely assured me that I needed to go up.  But I managed not to go every night.  But the last night, I knew I had to, I was without excuse, God was letting me know.  It's like this verse:  Hebrews 3:7-8 So, as the Holy Spirit says: "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts-  And I know that I had hardened my heart for so long and I know that so many people do.  But I finally made the right choice, I answered God that night.

I can not put into words how wonderful accepting Christ has been.  Everybody is looking, everbody has their own theories and excuses, but when one comes to Christ, who is the truth, they stop looking, they stop making excuses, they see clearly, and they always think, why didn't I accept Christ sooner.
Jesus saves.  Will you let him save you?  For me it was as simple as saying a short prayer to God, admitting that I am a sinner and that only Christ dying on the cross for my sins could save me.

Life is short.  Heaven is forever.  Jesus is the way.  Life hurts, life never satisfies, no matter how much you get what you think will quench you.  You'll always wonder in this life until you accept Jesus.  Your a sinner, Jesus is sinless, he died for your sins, he can set you free.  If not now, then when?  I can say so much that's true, but only you can make that choice, it's between you and Christ, who died for you, who is coming back.

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;  And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
